Homemade paper snowflakes.

How to Make Paper Snowflakes for Kids

When temperatures drop and there’s more rain, there might not always be snow. But that’s ok. You can create your own magical winter wonderland by making paper snowflakes. It’s a fun activity for kids and it couldn’t be easier! All you need is paper, scissors, decorations and whole lot of imagination. Let’s make some snow.

To start

  1. Recycle old newspapers or print out our snowflake printable here and cut it out. (Remember cutting out snowflakes can be tricky, so ask an adult to supervise or for younger kids, ask mum or dad to do the cutting).
  2. You can fold the paper in half or in quarters to make it easier when cutting out the smaller details.
  3. Finally, decorate, hang and admire.
