Colour Palettes - A Colour Exploration Of Shades Of Green

The colour green can be seen in all sorts of places in all sorts of shades. Here are some starting points for your green hunt – but remember to dig deep and find unusual shades of green that are unique to where you are at particular times of year.

  • Look beyond the obvious. Starting points: Green things in nature e.g. leaves, green at the beach, green on city walls etc.
  • When you get home, record the green things you find and create a green scrapbook with a description of each type of green.
  • Display the different leaves you’ve collected and write notes about where you found them.
