Kids love getting crafty, especially when there’s mud involved. Using the good old baking soda and vinegar trick, this outdoorsy volcano craft is lots of fun - especially when it erupts!
You’ll need 2 tbsp of baking soda, vinegar and a stick.
Find a clear, safe space in the garden with plenty of earth.
Using your hands, build a muddy mound about 20-30 centimeters high.
Make the ‘crater’ of your volcano by digging a hole in the top with your stick.
Put the baking soda in the crater and slowly pour the vinegar on top.
Step back and get ready…
Watch as your volcano erupts!
