When there’s plenty of snow outside, there’s only one thing to do. Rug up, grab your mum or dad (or both) and head outdoors to build some snow lanterns. This winter nature craft for kids is super easy and really cool.
- Start by making a pyramid, circle or square from a basic snowball.
- Leave a gap or a space between the balls and a gap for the chimney at the top.
- Here’s where your mum or dad comes in – get them to poke a tea candle through the gap, then turn up that natural light with a long match.
- And there you have it – your very own, very cool snow lantern!
