Persil UK 2026 Competition Full Terms and Conditions (chance to win a trip for two to Round 4 of the 2026 F1 ACADEMY™ season at the Formula 1 Heineken Dutch Grand Prix)

This Promotion is open to residents of the UK aged 18 years or over.
The following are not eligible to enter this Promotion: employees of the Promoter, their families, agents or anyone professionally connected with the Promotion.

How to Enter

To enter:
Visit the @Persiluk Instagram account or the Persil Facebook page.
Leave a comment on the competition post on Instagram and/or Facebook (posted on 01/07/26) for a chance to attend the F1 Academy Heineken Dutch Grand Prix (F1A Grand Prix) with a friend.
The opening date for entries is 12:00pm BST on 01/07/2026 and the closing date for receipt of entries is 23:59pm BST on 07/08/2026.
If entering via Instagram, entrants will need to follow the @Persiluk account and have their privacy settings set to allow Direct Message from @Persiluk during the Promotional Period and for the time necessary to administer the Promotion.
If entering via Facebook, entrants will need to follow Persil and have their privacy settings set to allow Direct Message from Persil during the Promotional Period and for the time necessary to administer the Promotion.

Entry Requirements

The Promotion is limited to one entry per platform (Instagram and/or Facebook), with a maximum of two entries per person in total.
Any use by entrants of multiple identities or identities other than their own to enter this Promotion will be disqualified and any prize entitlement will be void. The Promoter reserves the right to determine, in its sole and absolute discretion, whether an entrant has already submitted an entry and to disqualify any subsequent entries or prize entitlement.
Automated entries, scripts, or entries made through bots, AI systems, or any other automated means are prohibited. The Promoter reserves the right to verify entries, including through CAPTCHA or other human verification tools, and to disqualify any entry suspected of being generated or assisted by automated technology. The Promoter’s decision regarding the validity of any entry shall be final and made in its sole discretion.
Responsibility is not accepted for entries lost, damaged or delayed because of any network, computer hardware or software failure of any kind. Proof of sending will not be accepted as proof of receipt.
Entries received in connection with this Promotion may be reviewed by the Promoter or a third party moderator after they have been placed online to confirm they comply with these terms and conditions. The Promoter reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to remove or delete any entry (including any comments or tags) that it considers, or reasonably believes, to be unlawful, obscene, offensive, abusive, defamatory, infringing of third party rights, or otherwise not in keeping with the spirit of the Promotion. Any such entries may be removed from the @Persiluk Instagram account or the Persil Facebook page without prior notice, and the Promoter may disqualify the relevant entrant from the Promotion.
By participating in this Promotion, you agree to release, discharge and hold us harmless from all injuries, liability, losses and damages of any kind resulting from your participation in this Promotion (save that nothing shall limit our liability for fraud, or for death or personal injury caused by our negligence).

Prizes

There will be one winner, and one prize available, consisting of a VIP F1 ACADEMY™ race weekend experience at the F1A Grand Prix in Zandvoort, Netherlands for two. The prize includes:
Two F1 Academy Paddock passes to the F1A Grand Prix, including a hosted experience on each of Friday 21 August 2026, Saturday 22 August 2026, and Sunday 23 August 2026.
Two return economy tickets for either train or air travel from London to Amsterdam, departing on Thursday 20 August 2026 and returning on Monday 24 August 2026. Exact travel times and mode of transport is at the Promoter’s sole discretion and will be confirmed upon the winner’s acceptance of the prize.
Four nights’ accommodation in a hotel of 4* standard or above, selected by the Promoter and at the Promoter’s sole discretion (one room, double occupancy, with breakfast included), with check-in on Thursday 20 August 2026 and check-out on Monday 24 August 2026.
The following travel within the Netherlands for the winner and their guest: transfers from the arrival terminal to the hotel, daily transfers between the hotel and the F1A Grand Prix Circuit Zandvoort, and transfer from the hotel to the departure terminal for the return journey to London.
Prize Tickets specifics:
Allocation of all prize tickets will be at the sole discretion of the Promoter. Winners will receive tickets only valid for the specified dates.
The prize includes the tickets and the cost of travel as described above. The winner and their guest are responsible for arranging and covering the cost of travel from their home to the London departure terminal and back again. Any food and drink not included as part of the hotel breakfast or the F1A Paddock passes and hosted experience will be at the winner’s and their guest’s own expense.
If a visa is required for entry into the Netherlands, the Promoter is not responsible for the visa application process, issuance and/or use, which is solely under the control of the government of the Netherland. The winner and their guest are responsible for organising any such required visa and paying for any costs associated with the visa application. If the winner (and their guest) are unable to obtain the required visa, the prize and its value will be forfeited, and the Promoter may reallocate it in accordance with these terms and conditions.
The winner (and their guest) are responsible for ensuring that they have adequate and sufficient travel and medical insurance for their period of travel and duration of their stay in the Netherlands and will be responsible for costs associated with obtaining such insurance.
Travel dates are set by the Promoter. Flight/train schedules are subject to change without notice. The Promoter is not liable for any missed events or opportunities or expenses incurred as a consequence of flight/train cancellation/delay or ground transportation delay.
The Promoter will not be liable to the winner or their guest for any costs, damages, injuries or losses incurred by the winners or their guests as a result of travelling to or attending the F1A Grand Prix.
The winner will, at all times, remain responsible for their guest (who is the additional ticket holder). The guest must be over 18.
It is the responsibility of the winner and their guest to ensure that they have complied with all necessary travel requirements, for example:
Any changes to the booking (e.g., dates, guest names, etc.) may incur administration or cancellation fees, which would be the responsibility of the winner.
All components of the prize must be claimed at the same time (i.e. should the winner and/or guest be unable to travel, they forfeit the whole of the prize).
all visas, necessary medical requirements (including immunisations) and documentation, for entry to the Netherlands.
The prize is non-exchangeable, non-transferable, and non-refundable and there is no cash alternative in whole or in part. There is no alternative prize, in whole or part (save where the Promoter in its sole discretion deems it reasonably necessary to provide an alternative prize). The prize cannot be combined with any other offer, promotion or discount.
The prize must be accepted as offered and redeemed by the named winner only. The F1A Grand Prix tickets must be used only by the winner and the named guest. Neither the winner nor their guest may resell, give away or otherwise redistribute any F1A Grand Prix tickets they receive.
Prize elements, including travel provider, and hotel, will be determined by the Promoter in its absolute discretion. All travel is always subject to availability and may be dependent on select seat class with airlines / train companies or specific room category availability with an accommodation partner. Departure terminal will be somewhere in London.
The winner and their guest must be available to travel on the dates specified by the Promoter, or the prize and its total value will be forfeited.
Frequent flyer points will not form part of the prize. The winner and their guest must travel together, including travelling on the same flight/train and staying in the same accommodation. No compensation or alternative travel plans will be arranged should the winner and/or their guest miss their outbound or return flights/trains or fail to meet any check in requirements for any reason. Any consequent costs will be the sole responsibility and expense of the winner and their guest. A credit card will be required from the winner at check-in to the hotel for all incidental charges.
The Promoter will not be responsible for replacement of any lost or stolen F1A Paddock passes once they are in winner's possession or in the possession of the winner’s guest.
The winner acknowledges that the drivers at the F1A Grand Prix are subject to change without notice. No specific drivers or other individuals are guaranteed to be there or otherwise participate in a given race, and a race may be cancelled, stopped prematurely, interrupted, rescheduled, relocated, or replayed in its entirety. The Promoter will not be responsible for any costs, losses or damages to the winner and their guests as a result thereof, such as additional travel and accommodation expenses.
In the event that an element of the prize is cancelled or postponed for any reason, the winner will forfeit the specified element, and no cash alternative offer will be granted in lieu of the part of that prize.
The winner (and their guest) may be required to participate in publicity arising from this Promotion and may be filmed / photographed / interviewed by the Promoter or on our behalf during the F1A Grand Prix. The winner grants us (and will procure that their guest grants us) a perpetual, worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, sub-licensable and transferable license to use, reproduce, distribute and make derivative works of such footage / photographs / testimonials in any media and through any media channel.
Entrants agree and confirm that, should they win tickets to the F1A Grand Prix:
Their personal information and that of their guest including, but not limited to, their names, titles, date of birth, email addresses, mobile numbers, country of residence, nationality, passport/identity documentation numbers and where you have a disability or limited mobility, and additional personal data relating to your accessibility requirements, will be processed by Unilever and Unilever’s third party agencies in order to provide the agreed tickets and arrange flights / trains and accommodation to the winners and selected guests. The Promoter will process personal information in accordance with applicable privacy laws and the Promoter’s privacy notice, a copy of which is available here: https://www.unilevernotices.com/privacy-notices/united-kingdom-english.html (“Unilever Privacy Notice”).
They will obtain the permission of their guest for providing the same sets of personal data.
They will (and will procure that their guest will) comply with any instructions or guidelines communicated by Unilever, or by a third party on behalf of Unilever, and any request to enter into additional terms and conditions and provide such personal information as is required.
They will (and will procure that their guest will) comply with the F1A Ticketing Terms and Conditions. Entrants acknowledge that a breach of the F1A Terms and Conditions may result in their ticket being revoked, entry to Circuit Zandvoort refused or being asked to leave Circuit Zandvoort. The Promoter will not be liable to the winner or guest of the winner for any losses incurred as a result of such cancellation.
Where winner and/or their guest have notified the Promoter of a disability or limited mobility, the Promoter will use reasonable endeavours to accommodate any accessibility requirements necessary to enable the winner and their guest to attend the F1A Grand Prix, including any related hospitality, travel and accommodation requirements. While the Promoter strives to ensure accessibility for all, the winner acknowledges that the Promoter cannot guarantee that third-party providers of F1 Academy Paddock passes, hospitality, travel and accommodation will always meet specific accessibility requirements. These services are managed independently, and their policies and practices may vary. The Promoter will not be responsible for any failure to meet accessibility requirements by third-party providers.

Selection of Winners

All valid entries received on or before the closing date will be entered into a random number generator. The first entry drawn at random will win the prize.
If, after a winner has been selected, the Promoter reasonably determines that the winning entry was made, generated, or assisted by automated means (including but not limited to AI systems or bots), or otherwise in breach of these terms and conditions, the Promoter may declare that entry invalid and select an alternative winner in accordance with these terms and conditions. The Promoter’s decision in this regard shall be final and made in its sole discretion.
The winner(s) will be notified by direct message within 4 days of the closing date via the platform (Instagram or Facebook) on which the winning entry was submitted. For the avoidance of doubt, where an entrant submits entries on both platforms, they will be contacted via the platform associated with the winning entry. The winner must claim their prize by responding to the direct message confirming their name, title, date of birth, email address, mobile number, country of residence, nationality, passport/identity documentation number (and the same for their guest) within 2 days of the notification. If the prize is unclaimed after this time, it will lapse, and the Promoter reserves the right to offer the unclaimed prize to a substitute winner selected in accordance with these terms and conditions.
The winner’s(s’) details (initials or first letter of Instagram handle) may be made available on request by emailing ukicare@unilever.com within 5 days of the closing date.

General Terms

This Promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with, Instagram or Facebook. Entrants are providing information to the Promoter. Entrants release Instagram and Facebook for all claims and liabilities arising in respect of the Promotion.
By entering the Promotion, all entrants will be deemed to have accepted and be bound by the rules. All entry instructions form part of the rules.
We reserve the right to verify the winner and ask for proof of identity, age and address, and to withdraw prize entitlement where there are reasonable grounds to believe there has been a breach of these terms and conditions. We also reserve the right in our sole discretion, acting reasonably to disqualify any entrant who: (a) we have reason to believe has breached any of these terms and conditions; and/or (b) interferes with the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of this Promotion; and/or (c) engaged in any unlawful or other improper misconduct calculated to jeopardise the fair and proper conduct of this Promotion.
The Promoter, Unilever, reserve the right to terminate this Promotion early in the event of exceptional circumstances outside of their control.
These terms and conditions and any issues or disputes which may arise out of or in connection with these terms and conditions (whether such disputes or issues are contractual or non-contractual in nature, such as claims in tort, for breach of statute or regulation or otherwise) shall be governed by and construed in accordance with English law. Entrants hereby irrevocably submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts to settle any such dispute or issues.
